BANK TRANSACTIONS PROCESSING & MONITORING

We typically have view-only access to your online bank accounts to review your bank statements and record bank transactions as needed. We also monitor the balance of your bank accounts.

MONTHLY/QUARTERLY/ANNUALLY FINANCIAL CLOSING

We record accruals, deferrals, amortizations, etc., close and reconcile the books monthly or quarterly, as needed.

FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND REPORTS

Depending on your needs, we prepare financial statements which include a statement of financial position, income statement, and balance sheet schedules. We also prepare Key Performance Indicator reports as requested.

1099 PREPARATION & FILING

We collect W9s, identify 1099 reportable vendors and transactions and file 1099 forms to meet your tax filing requirements.

SALES AND USE TAXES

We do sales tax research and determine if your clients’ products are taxable or if you are required to register with the state/county, register sales tax permits and compute and file sales tax.

B. How do I get started with MontPac?

a. Becoming a MontPac affiliate is easy. After signing an agreement with us, these are our next steps to get up and running:

■ Meeting your team

● You will be assigned to a team of experienced accountants who will perform various accounting tasks for your clients, from simple processing to the complex reports and reconciliations.

■ Account and systems setup

● MontPac will set up and work with the systems and software used by your clients to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

■ Kick-off call

● We will discuss with you the implementation process in more detail, get an understanding of your clients’ accounting processes, and agree on expectations and timelines.

■ Accounting & Bookkeeping

● Finally, we will send over a work order arrangement for every client that you will assign to us. Then, we will start doing the agreed-upon accounting work for your clients, from cleanup work, fine-tuning existing procedures to taking over regular accounting tasks. On a monthly basis, we will close the books and submit the monthly financial package.
